So I've had a busy up and down past few months, I will post more now that I'm back.

So I met One Direction. That's myself in the middle. Edited in.
One Direction are most definitely what I would all my 'guilty pleasure'. Like thousands of  girls, it's their boyish good-looks that get me, as well as their very casual approach to their music, even if it isn't my usual genre (they still have nothing on Foo Fighters).

Also saw Skyfall a couple of weeks ago, it was brilliant and I loved it. Still undecided whether I preferred Casino Royale, so it would be interesting to know what you guys thought of both!

Myself, Lydia and Davina before a friends party. The red dress is from Asos and was a huge bargin, as well as my first Asos purchase.

Found this online. Oh the joys of Twitter. Enjoy

Rest In Peace John Lennon

Georgia and I went and saw Silver Linings. It was fantastic and really eye-opening. From someone who suffers from Bi-Polar disorder myself, I believe that it made others see the more serious (which has an impact on your whole life), as well as the entertaining side!

Won this dress on Ebay! I WON AGAINST EBAY. Jack Wills. Ebay score is not 3-1 to Ebay.

I recently started volunteering at an event which occurs throughout the UK, called Parkrun (www.parkrun.co.uk).
It's brilliant to help out and see people being so enthusiastic about running competitively and also to keep fit/be social!

Celebrities

Watching X-Factor (not the norm, I promise), and just got to the bit where Rhylan talks about the twitter abuse he gets, and Nicole Scherzinger goes on to say she revives/received death threats too.
It really angers me to know that there are people out there that wish others to be dead for a start, but to wish something like that on someone who is doing what they can to achieve their dream.

Just reminds me of the Tom Daley rileyy_69 Twitter situation. I admire Tom so much for focusing on what he wants to achieve, not only this but he's a gentleman too :) So nice one to the rileyy_69 guy, who's only achievement is being famous for hating/abusing other people?

Downton Abbey

Back on TV finally! My family and I are avid fans. Just started watching it on ITV Player. What did everyone think of it?

Personally, last series disappointed me a little. However, the whole 'Sybil and Branson' situation certainly made me find it more enjoyable :)

My sister and I at Brasserie Blanc in Winchester

I'm wearing a Topshop dress. The colour is pretty summery, the length and shape is perfect too. It's just that tiny keyhole that kept opening up more and more haha! Had to keep adjusting it. Otherwise, brilliant dress, only something like £35.

My sister is going back to her University tomorrow (sigh), so this was a photo from the family meal out! Going to miss her, but going up to stay with her next week anyway because I have a uni open day.

 Lip Colour Rouge à Lèvres

Tonight is my friend's 18th birthday party. Still undecided about what to wear (!), but I will be wearing this lipstick.
At £18, it's at the higher end of the beauty market. It might seem over priced, but the quality as well as packaging is brilliant!
The colour didn't come out quite how I expected and, as most lipstick does (to my lips anyway), it made my lips look dry. I teamed it up with a Body Shop lipgloss, so it became more pink than red really, and it gave it more of a sheen/soft feel.
So overall, really good quality, good colour lipstick; totally wearable.

discovering classical music.

I had always enjoyed listening to classical music whenever it happened to be playing.
But recently, I was watching Pride and Prejudice again, and more some reason I was concentrating on the soundtrack more than the film itself. Classical music, especially that of the music in Pride and Prejudice, is so relaxing and it really makes you feel a range of different emotions.

Pride and Prejudice, the 2005 film starring Matthew Macfadyen (left) and Keira Knightley. The rain scene; good scene.

If you're reading this and thinking 'never felt like that about Classical music' or 'yeah, yeah, everyone feels that so whatever'; to the first thought I'd say go and have a listen to Claire De Lune - Claude Debussy, or Nuvole Bianche - Ludovico Einaudi, they're my favourites and are so relaxing and romantic, as well as telling a story of desperation. To the second comment, what I love about classical music is that it makes everyone feel differently.

I say that this sudden (saying sudden, because the only music I have listened to properly since Monday has been classical) urge to hear classical music as much as possible came from watching Pride and Prejudice, it really came from watching the very average, and probably over-rated Waterloo Road. Slightly embarrassing, but while I was watching it a song played, and it reminded me of Claire De Lune, so I listened to it again and there you go.
